Bruce Frohnen is associate professor at Ave Maria School of Law and editor, with Jeremy Beer and Jeffrey O. Nelson, of
American Conservatism: An Encyclopedia. He writes on issues ranging from constitutional law and rights to city planning and business ethics. His work has appeared in
National Review, the
Harvard Journal of Law & Public Policy, the
Washington Times, and the
American Journal of Jurisprudence, among other journals. He is the author of
Virtue and the Promise of Conservatism: the Legacy of Burke and Tocqueville and
The New Communitarians and the Crisis of Modern Liberalism, and editor or co-editor of six books, including
The American Republic: Primary Sources and a selection of Anti-Federalist writings. He is a Senior Fellow at the Russell Kirk Center for Cultural Renewal and editor of the
Political Science Reviewer.
